Katie's Team now has a Steering Group

Katie's Team activities will now be led by a Steering Group, composed of 3 lay advisors and 2 researchers. With this, we are moving closer to our goal of Katie's Team being led and managed by its own members. The Steering Group will meet quarterly and focus on developing Katie's Team as well as making it financially self-sustainable.

Katie’s Team go International

Ngawai Moss is a founding member of Katie’s Team (our women’s health research patient and public advisory group). She recently travelled to the University of Granada to present on how patient and public involvement can be practically applied at every stage of the research lifecycle to ensure relevance and impact. By highlighting real life examples from our work in Katie’s Team she was able to showcase how the patient voice is central to research at the BARC Women's Health Research Unit.
